likely has a new resident. 26-year-old tamerlan tsarnaev shot by police this morning in the suburb of boston. he and his 19-year-old brother dzhokhar were identified by the fbi yesterday as the prime suspects in the bombing last monday that killed three and injured 170. now, shortly after the fbi sent those pictures you just saw out to the world, the two men began a series of bizarre moves. here is the time line. at 10:20 last night. the two suspects were confronted by a massachusetts institute of technology police officer who was responding to a robbery call in cambridge. the suspects allegedly shot 26-year-old sean collier dead. soon after that, the brothers hijacked a mercedes suv but released the driver unharmed after stealing $800 from him. the victim told police the suspects were bragging about being bombers. around 11:00 p.m. last night, police spotted the stolen mercedes and a chase began ending in watertown, a suburb 8 miles from boston. the suspects and police exchanged more than 200 rounds of gunfire and the brothers also threw explosives at the cops. one officer, 33-yea

question this morning is: how much did other members of their family know? keep in mind that tamerlan, the 26-year-old suspect who was killed on thursday night moving into friday, that he was married. he was married to an american woman who became a muslim after she married him. they had a three-year-old daughter together. it's questionable now whether or not they were actually still together at the time of this bombing. some sources are saying that she, catherine, pictured here, had moved back home with her mother, judith, with the baby. and maybe that would be when tamerlan ended up going back to russia for those six months because if you're married and you have a small child, you might wonder, that would be suspicious to be gone for six months. >>steve: she is on the cover of the new york post today because she always dreamed of growing up, joining the peace corps and serving this country and others abroad. then she got tangled up with this guy, converted to islam. next thing you know, she dropped out. there is an interesting item in the "wall street journal" today that says essent

. the two brothers, the one who was killed last night tamerlan tsarnaev. the man police are looking for at this hour is dzhokhar tsarnaev, identified by the fbi as wearing the white hat, as you can see in the photograph there. those were the photographs from the scene on monday at the boston marathon that were made public by the fbi last night. dzhokhar the man at large has a massachusetts driver's license and was born in kyrgyzstan. they came to the u.s. with their family in 2002, 2003. may have been here well over a decade in the united states. >> and has left a trail of devastation in their wake. pete williams also saying that this chase last night, which culminated and still continues now, but culminated in a huge shootout with the sounds of gunfire and explosives ringing through the streets of watertown in the dark of night. these guys were the ones who started this by potentially a realizing their faces were out there and if they wanted to make another mark or make a break for it, they had to do it right away. it involved them robbing a 7-eleven, carjacking someone, letting th
